Help+Manual comes with a graphics editing program called Impict. This program is designed for editing and enhancing screenshots and other graphics used in help and documentation projects. Since Impict comes with its own comprehensive help this topic only explains how to start the program and how to open graphics files for editing in Impict from the Help+Manual editor.

Update: New SnipSVG screen capture and graphics editor

Our new free SnipSVG screen capture and screenshot editing tool is a powerful, modern screen capture and screenshot editing solution with many new capabilities. Above all, it uses the modern SVG vector graphics format that displays image elements with the same quality at all zoom levels. It can save in both SVG directly and its own SnipX image format. Both formats can be used directly in Help+Manual and both will export as SVG from your Help+Manual projects.

See the weblink SnipSVG product page for more information and downloads.

For full details on editing images with Impict or SnipSVG see each program's own help.
