ChatGPT and DeepL Write assistants

Both these assistants are available through the Plugins tool in the Project tab.

ChatGPT Plugin

The ChatGPT plugin in Help+Manual can be used to do pretty much everything that you can do with text-based ChatGPT in any other context. The plugin is configured to enable ChatGPT to interface directly with the current topic in your project.

You can use the plugin for things like translating topics, writing new content, proofreading, editing and summarizing topics, and so on.

ChatGPT subscription required

You need a ChatGPT subscription to use the plugin in Help+Manual.

Location and access

The plugin is in the Plugins section in the Project ribbon tab.

DeepL Write

In addition to AI translation, the DeepL plugin now also includes the DeepL Write proofreading, grammar and style assistant.

DeepL subscription tier required

You need a subscription to the paid DeepL translation tier to use this feature. See Machine translation with DeepL for details on getting this set up.

Location and access

DeepL Write is available in the Write tab of the DeepL Translator Plugin in the Plugins section of the Project ribbon tab.
